I was born in Los Angeles, where I received a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from the University of Nevada, Las Angeles before moving to Philadelphia to receive a Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Pennsylvania. I have spent the last twenty years teaching at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas before taking early retirement in June, 2010. I think that my years of teaching have contributed to whatever skill I may have in voice-over. It’s hard keeping those students awake.
My primary training in voice-over, however, has been at the hands of Betty Lougaris, the executive director, of Media Guilds International, as well as a Voice-Over/Voice-Acting/TV/Film Acting Coach based in Las Vegas. I have taken one voice over class from her, in addition to two acting
